Prime Minister Turnbull quite rightly says domestic violence must stop but, like so many, he seems reluctant to mention one of its main causes - pornography. Like the John Cleese skit, "Don't mention the war!”
Assistant Commissioner for the NSW Police, Mark Murdoch, corporate spokesman for Domestic Violence in Australia's largest police force, says porn use among our young men is "the fastest growing part of the problem of domestic violence." (SMH 7 Dec 2014) In an article entitled How Porn Is Turning Boys Into Rapists, Asst Commissioner Murdoch also warns that "easy access to pornography has caused sexual assaults by young men to double in five years." (Mercury 12 Oct 2014)
Inspector Sprague headed the largest task force in Australia's law enforcement history with Melbourne's infamous Mr Cruel case and says he’s staggered by the amount of porn in the community. He is convinced that there is a "strong link between pornography and the amount of sex crimes we get." He is correct.
Victorian Crown Prosecutor Richard Read readily admits that there is a “very clear” link between pornography and violence and even the Australian Law Reform Commission reports "pornography is causally related to sexually violent behaviour.”
Medical journal Medicine, Mind and Adolescence quotes University of Calgary scientist Dr Claudio Violato saying that the violence/porn link is "clear and consistent”. Our acceptance of porn must cease, God’s standard must be raised.
Signs upon entering the Northern Territory's Aboriginal reserves state "NO PORNOGRAPHY" for a reason. ALL of our States have outlawed the sale, hire and display of X Rated DVDs, yet they are, for some insane reason, available in the territories where they are causing devastation in the Aboriginal communities and sent out across the nation via Australia Post where they will cause further violence. "Aboriginal boys as young as eight are being used for sex and told 'its a cultural thing' (Australian 8 Sept 2006) according to Gary Lee, an indigenous man studying at Charles Darwin University for his PhD, young children are encountered whose behaviour is "totally sexualised" and worse he says, "Everybody knows it is happening." Former Cabinet Ministers admit that, due to pornography, there’s a major problem with child sexual abuse in indigenous communities. Don’t you care?
Porn is laying waste to Australia's young girls, our women and our youth. IF our governments were so concerned about domestic violence they could quite easily do something about one of the major causes - pornography. Some simple, cost effective ideas should be welcomed.
In Queensland the state government legally allows small children unrestricted access to the sale, display and perusal of Australian Penthouse magazine. Any thinking human knows Penthouse is not a children's magazine. Allowing children’s unrestricted access to such grossly pornographic imagery is wrong. The Queensland state government, as have the state governments in Victoria, Tasmania and NSW, could easily overrule the inadequate guidelines and place ALL porn magazines in a "Restricted, AO" category, available for and displayed only to adults. As the federal government rules the territories, the Turnbull government, if it wants to curtail domestic violence, could quite easily place the same simple restrictions on X-Rated DVDs in the territories as already exist in each of our states. They are banned in all of our states for a very good reason - they cause violence. pm.gov.au will reach the Prime Minister. ALL MPs can be contacted through our website.
The biggest perpetrator of them all, the Internet, can also be addressed. The government can legislate so that if you want X-Rated porn on your computer, you must be over 18 and apply for it. This sensible idea is presently working its way through British parliament and addresses all the hard questions. It doesn't ban, burn or censor anything! Civil Liberties are all protected. If you want it, apply for it. Penalties will apply to ISPs who send X-Rated porn uninvited The same should apply Down Under. A note to pm.gov.au will reach Mr Turnbull.
The Victorian Labour government has passed legislation to allow homosexuals to adopt precious, innocent children. This must be reversed with a new government. Disease and violence permeate the culture of those disturbed enough to promote and participate in the unsanitary insanity of homosexual sodomy.
Domestic violence is rife in the homosexual community and ignoring or accepting the problem will not help correct it. Before we accept their “right” to marry, adopt children or establish a “relationships registry” we must educate ourselves. The truth is our best weapon. Besides the info below, heaps of info hereand here on our website.
- The Centres for Disease Control in the US just published their "National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey" (NISVS) . They found that homosexuals disproportionately suffer violence, and inflict violence on one another.
- The CDC survey is the first of its kind to present comparisons of victimisation by sexual orientation for men and women. Its data indicate that homosexuals experience sexual violence at much higher rates than heterosexual men and women. Twenty-six percent of homosexual men and 37% of bisexual men experienced rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner.
- Forty-four percent of lesbians and 61% of bisexual women experienced rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime.
- Half (48%) of bisexual women who have been raped experienced their first completed rape between the ages of 11 and 17 years.
Sadly, unless and until more of the major reasons for domestic violence are addressed our women and young girls will continue to be cannon fodder. Click here to contact all MPs.
